Getting ready for autumn and winter... there is still so much to discover and enjoy: take one of the modern cable-cars and set out on one of the numerous hiking trails to mountain huts and pastures. After the hike, you can look forward to the wellness treatment of our Hotel Meinhardt. While in the Tyrolean Stuben and restaurants traditional delicacies are served, there’s also Christmas shopping in the magical atmosphere of Advent. And on the snow-covered ski slopes it’s fun for the whole family!
Schenna is extending its autumn season this year and many hotels and apartments will remain open until the New Year. Guests can then relax in the luxurious wellness hotels, stylish guesthouses and traditional farms and enjoy the South Tyrolean hospitality. To ensure that hikers can take advantage of the full range of offers in the region, the cable cars do not stop in November and even Schenna's mountain huts spoil their guests with hearty South Tyrolean specialities all month long. Those who would like to enjoy the mild climate can go to the "Törggelen" in the Buschenschänken and Tyrolean Stuben and, after an extended walk with locals and other guests, let the day come to a convivial end with new wine, dumpling tris and roasted chestnuts. Fun for the whole family is offered from the end of November to the beginning of January on the ice rink in the village centre. A real insider tip in December: the nearby ski area Merano 2000 is only 5 minutes from Schenna.
