Sledging in South Tyrol is a major highlight during a winter holiday in Merano/Meran and environs. The Schennaberg toboggan run starts above Taser restaurant. From the parking place, it is about half an hour walk until you reach Weger Bock. Here you find a toboggan run of one kilometre, leading you back down to the valley, to the starting point.
The ski resort Merano 2000 offers a great destination for sledging in South Tyrol. Here you find the alpine coaster Alpin Bob, operated in winter and summer. This alpine roller coaster of 1.1 km is great if you are looking for a thrill.
